Becoming Jaded or Accepted

Becoming a child of God is a high honor to God

We tend to judge others, because they are so different from the way we see things or do things.

Or others may have a seemingly successful ministry and people become jealous or think they are the sheriffs to the body of Christ to handle those poor misinformed souls.  The judgmental actions taken therefore with words speak; This must be wrong!

To have unity and love makes us function as a true part of our body, which all parts are a necessity.  I hate the division, and this is my personal way I see things.

I consider myself a child of God, period.  No man can come to Jesus unless they become “like” little children.  I remember never having an enemy as a child.  I obeyed Daddy because I love and trust him.

I ask God to keep me innocent, so that I remain humble.  A child knows other children and play together and there is no issue of race, creed, belief etc..  A child remains close to ABBA, because they only know the love of Abba.

Through hurts, shame and being among negative people and other issues, we can become JADED.  Through our growing up experiences, they teach us that we cannot trust Abba or others.  A child doesn’t have to know everything.  AND…. I don’t know much, because I want to sit on Abbas lap and listen to his heart.  I want to sit at his feet and learn from HIS heart and hand.

There are many things that I don’t need to know, unless ABBA tells me.  Just as in our growth to child-likeness, we learn to decrease and He must increase.  YES we must decrease!

We grow to places of service through humility.  God can really trust a child-like soul because they love Abba.  A child is always humble, young in nature and character.  A place where there is no jealousy, envy, strife, etc..  We are simple as a child.

When we remain lowly and child-like, means we don’t have to know EVERYTHING, but just obey as Abba says.  He gives us his approval daily.  He is a good, great Father, so I can trust him always and remain his child-like servant.

I love my ABBA Father and it always pleases me when he loves me and has to correct my steps and takes time to correct me when I need it.  HE is my shield and my exceeding great reward.  It is all about falling so in love with the Lord.

He chooses to give us freedom to choose.  Becoming a child of God is a high honor to God.  Many take the road of pride.  God knows how to humble us.  May we all take a loving stance with our brothers and sisters and take things to prayer instead of using our words to assassinate them.  Be quick to hear slow to speak and slow to wrath

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your soul,”   James 1:19-21KJV.

The War and World of Words

Let us not assassinate our brother! Don’t get involved in the devils agenda’s; Unless you are going to confront it, bring closure and settle the matter

When we speak against our brother, we speak against ourselves!  When we are in a “group,” gossip and slander are mixed with words that kill, steal and destroy.

It matters not who should say something, even if you are silent.  We are known by the company we keep and the words we speak.  Don’t engage in a battle you can never win!

If you have the spiritual maturity, and carry weight and know better, we are accountable before God.  We must understand and beware of what we allow ourselves to listen to, and what situations we put ourselves in, speak and chat about.

Whatever means of communication we use, remember the enemy will line up to the content, long enough to make us think we are hearing the real deal!  The Word of God is always the real deal!  Line up to that!

Once that happens, we have opened the door against ourselves and others that may not understand!  The one with the maturity, ends up lining up with the deception, then once that happens, we speak words that we have no business speaking.  When we curse with our words we are doing the devils business and he sits up watching this horrid civil war with glee!

Learn to look at the root cause in a brother and in this war of words.  Realize that person really didn’t mean what they said!  Know a brother by his or her consistency as a follower of Christ.

Know them by their words and fruits; Fruits of the Spirit, and fleshly fruits.  It takes time to know a persons consistency in Christ.  As we grow in maturity we begin to see various levels.  We can recognize levels we once walked in.

Before honor comes humility.  All Honor belongs to Him who sits on the throne! He is able to abase those that are haughty, and pride comes before a fall.

  1. Our growth to child-likeness, is our end result with God!
  2. We will cast our crowns at his feet one day.
  3. We grow to places of service through humility. He must increase and we decrease!
  4. Innocence through humility! I ask God to Keep me innocent so I remain humble.

This walk is the opposite to our secular lives.  Everyone says to be an over achiever, climb the ladder of success no matter how many heads you step or stomp on!  The kingdom of God is opposite.  It is ALL about Him!

The growth we achieve through this natural world is nothing, compared to our inheritance which is stored up in heaven.  We came into this world with nothing, and we will exit with nothing.  That inheritance is eternally stored up as HE lives through us!

The object is to host the LORD on the throne of our heart.  What an honor we have!  To host the King of Kings and LORD of LORDs on our very own heart!

To HIM who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb, be blessings, glory, honor and power forever!

As we abide in the Word of God, by reason of use, our senses are exercised to discern good and evil.  Beloved of God, we can learn a lot by watching, being silent and listening!  There is wisdom in silence as we listen for His still, small voice.

God must be able to trust us before he releases us to minister to others.  We will die a thousand deaths.  We are supposed to die daily to our flesh.  Picking up our cross and following HIM everyday. As a friend shared with me, “we are dead men walking.”  Dying to self does not appeal to the flesh of man.  However we learn, grow and know it is part of Gods plan for us.

We ALL fall and mess up.  Don’t cut off a brother unless the LORD moves you away from them.  It does not mean something is wrong with you or with them!  He moves us to where we will fit the best.  Some friends don’t last in your life.

YES, Satan sets us up for a fall.  Many times our adversary just goes along with the program until he gains our authority.  Yes!  The enemy gains ground in our lives when we let him.  He wants us to give our authority to his agenda.  So who has the power?

The devil is no dummy, he has had centuries of people to practice on.  Once he does the deed, and we fall for it then WE release the poison through our words.  WE must repent as quickly as we can once we realize what we have done. Then we cast him out of the entire situation.

Initiate closure and peace to all, no matter who was used by the enemy.  All of us at one time or another can be used by the devil.  Show mercy and kindness, and soon others will show it to you when you fall into the trappings of Satan.  Look at the example of Peter, when Jesus recognized Satan voice in the disciple.  Jesus did not throw Peter away, He rebuked the devil!

WE ARE IN THE WAR AND WORLD OF WORDS!

Study the bible about words.  Study what God thinks about gossip, slander, tongue and mouth.  There are many other topics that can be used to fuel a Spiritual Civil War among us.

Let us not assassinate our brother!  Don’t get involved in the devils agenda’s; Unless you are going to confront it, bring closure and settle the matter.  Amen?

As God takes you further into ministry there will be fewer people on your path.  He increases and we decrease.  Not everyone can just hang out as you mature in the LORD.  Why?  God takes his special vessels and places them where He can trust them to be. He has tested them over and over again before he releases them.

Please don’t be offended that they cannot be where you are.  If truly known, they wish at times, could hang out.  There is a plan they were presented with by God and they accepted it.  Depending on the task of Gods plans, it can be a most lonesome path especially when you love people and are extroverted.

Yet these love the LORD so much, they have laid down their lives for him eternally.

We must offer up ourselves as living sacrifice’s to the LORD.  We learn to lay our lives down on the altar and remain there abiding in the presence of God.  We have learned by experience to ask that our tongue and mouth be filled with coals of fire.

Do you think everyone can abide there?  There are many levels in the kingdom and each just as important with different responsibilities.  Not everyone can go where you go.

God may require something from you that others can do freely, but you cannot.  Measure yourselves against the Word of God.  Stand against the wall as a plumbline, he will make you line up to his will.

Jesus wants our attention and he is jealous over us.  He wants to be our best friend regardless of the cost.  Oh to know Him as he is known, to experience Him in this life as He is!  Amen?  Amen!

HE IS OUR EXCEEDING GREAT REWARD!

God’s Word for Inertia

Holiness is a foreign word to them and they are so far removed from the scriptures they believe in. They trust the preacher to tell them the scriptures and have no study to back them up at home.

While I prayed I heard the word “Inertia” and I had no idea what it meant.  I looked it up.

Inertia means: 1: Property of matter by which it continues in its existing state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line, unless that state is changed by an external force.
2: Resistance or disinclination to motion, action, or change: idleness, lazy, with regard to effort, motion, action, and the like; inactivity; sluggishness, slothfulness.  A tendency to do nothing or to remain unchanged.  © thefreedictionary.com

The LORD revealed some things through this word definition that is effective now concerning the Church and the timing we are in.  I believe we need to know and understand where we fit in our stance with eternity.

There is a very real resistance to moving forward with God today in the churches.  The people are idle (even in spirit filled churches) with no regard to changing and becoming Christ like.  Many have no concept of the cost of discipleship and teaching about suffering for our stance in Christ.

These are sluggish, slothful, and don’t want things to change.  To these who don’t want to rock the boat; they substitute programs, wanting instead a social, status gathering or club, in which Christ has no part in.  These also are using the church for merchandising.  These have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, from such we are warned to turn away.

I see nothing in scripture that calls for such programs or teachings that encourage others to do nothing and remain unchanged.  I found that Jesus entered the temple and turned over the money changers tables in anger, stating My house is a house of prayer and you have made it a den of thieves,   Matthew 21:13.

Holiness is a foreign word to them and they are so far removed from the scriptures they believe in.  They trust the preacher to tell them the scriptures and have no study to back them up at home.

Start talking about holiness and watch the people start calling you a legalist or worse, a false prophet.  However, when asked about scripture, many have no idea what they believe or where to find it.

There is a tendency to go with the “herd mentality” and many in this system who are truly saved get stuck in a miry pit or run over.  It takes the LORD’s people to pray and remove them from the pit of destruction through intercession.  Shepherds gently lead their flocks, but herds are driven.

The Church has an existing state of rest or motion that will continue on it’s path of destruction unless that state is changed by an external force; meaning God must change it!

If the church continues on the same path (of rest and uniform motion) It will take a move of God to change the path of destruction.  God will help those that are wayward find their way back, but for many the strict, sacred and undefiled words of the Holy Bible are not applicable anymore.

There are others with lots of zeal who are sincere but sincerely wrong.  These think they are doing Gods will and going along a straight road to destruction and can’t see the peril their in.  Discipleship is so important! It will take prayer and God to changed their directions.

Zeal without knowledge is just as bad, as they believe their salvation is based strictly on their works.  Both states are wrong.  You can’t win by going with the program of religion and traditions; It will take you down and you will wonder why it happened or worse you turn away from God.

Following Christ isn’t easy, but his love for us is eternal and that never fails.  He is our exceeding great reward!

Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.  For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God but not according to knowledge,  (Romans 10:1-2 KJV).

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away,”   2 Timothy 2:3-8 KJV.

“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance; but as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye hold in all manner of conversation; because it is written, be ye holy, for I AM holy,”  1 Peter 1:13-16 KJV.

A Look at the Word Exhortation

Exhort: To incite by words or advice; to animate or urge by arguments to a good deed or to any laudable conduct or course of action. To advise; to warn; to caution.

“Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.  For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.  But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, andcomfort,”   1 Corinthians 14:1-3 KJV,  (Emphasis added).

There is much confusion with this topic and I see and hear those who do not understand the role of prophecy in the church.

In the King James Bible Dictionary:

Edification:  To give courage to; to give or increase confidence of success; to inspire with courage, spirit, or strength of mind; to embolden; to animate; to incite; to inspirit. To encourage.
i.e. To encourage or encouragement, the act of giving courage, or confidence of success; Incitement to action or to practice; incentive.“But charge Joshua, and encourage him….,”   Deuteronomy 3:28.Comfort:  To strengthen; to invigorate; to cheer or enliven.“Comfort ye your hearts….,”   Genesis 18:5.

To strengthen the mind when depressed or enfeebled; to console; to give new vigor to the spirits; to cheer, or relieve from depression, or trouble.

“His friends came to mourn with him and to comfort him….”   Job 2:11.

Exhort:  To incite by words or advice; to animate or urge by arguments to a good deed or to any laudable conduct or course of action. To advise; to warn; to caution. To incite or stimulate to exertion.

“I exhort you to be of good cheer…..,”   Acts 27:22.

“Exhort servants to be obedient to their masters…..,” Titus 2:9.

Exhortation: To deliver exhortation; to use words, warnings, caution to incite to good deeds,  (Acts 2:40).

I find that many believer’s refuse to believe in prophecy or prophets, due to misuse and false prophets.  There is misuse through immaturity, ignorance and pride also.  There needs to be teaching on this subject.

To only know the kindness of God and not the severity of God is to deceive ourselves.  You are obligated to study the Word of God so you can know for yourselves.

It is dangerous to believe in all ministers and not find out the truth for yourself.  The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:12, “to know those that labor among yourselves.”  Also we are to study to show ourselves approved, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our LORD Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.  And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the LORD, and admonish you; and be at peace among yourselves.  And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake,”  1 Thessalonians 5:9-13 KJV.

Why is exhortation, warning?

The Holy Spirit is warning his Church and the world of Jesus imminent return.

The Kingdom of God is among us and like salt, when salt has lost it’s savor it is good for nothing.  Would you rather not be advised, cautioned or warned?

When the LORD comes and open His door to the marriage supper of the Lamb and HE closes the door, It will not be opened again.

“And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in,”   Genesis 7:16 KJV.

Just like it was when Noah built the ark.  People were not paying any attention to the signs of the times; Yes, the LORD closed the ark.  HE will close the door once again when He has gathered all his wise virgins.

Don’t stay at the end of the lines; quit having a divided heart with one foot in and one foot out.  The chasm will widen and there will be nothing left to stand on in the middle ground.  You will either be in or out.

This dispensation is coming to a close and once the doors are shut, the Holy Spirit of Grace will be taken out of the earth with HIS beloved remnant.  People will face the full brunt of this earth in tribulation when the anti Christ takes over.  BUT GOD!

“And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them nor follow them, for as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.  But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.  And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark and the flood came and destroyed them all,”   Luke 17:23-27 KJV.

Beloved of God, we are in birth pains, but things are coming quickly to a close.  Those that remain bound to this earth, who rejected Jesus and his word, will find they were left.  There will be two in bed, one taken, the other left.  Two working in a field, one taken the other left.  There will be much confusion.

In those days there will be those that rejected and never committed to Christ.  And those that are backslider’s or ministers who were not right in relationship with Christ.  These will be shocked.  These who taught partial truths, will repent and turn to truth during these days and begin to teach and preach the truth during the tribulation.

During this time, there will be many martyrs for the name of Christ and they will willingly die for the truth that they can no longer reject.  They will die for their faith.  The Jews and those left will be saved but through much tribulation.

No man knows the day or hour of HIS return but we will know the season as we remain abiding in HIM.  It will be when they hear, Peace and Safety then sudden destruction will come.

“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the LORD so cometh as a thief in the night.  For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober,”     1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 KJV.

Is this a hard message?

Would it be better if God didn’t tell his prophets; warning of the times we are in?

Do you realize they are held accountable for those souls they are to exhort, to advise, warn and caution?

God is sounding his alarm and you can watch the news and see the pages of the Bible happening before our eyes.  The sand in the hour glass is moving quickly and the time to play church is over.  Fake and fluff won’t be able to stand anymore.  There will be a clearer distinction between the true beloved church of the living God, and those who are dry, dead, fake, deceitful religion.

God exhorts us to hear what HIS Spirit is saying to the churches.  The ministry fields are white ready for harvest.

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: that in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him,”   Ephesians 1:4-10.
