This past week has felt spiritually silent for many of you and it has felt deafening as you sought The LORD in prayer, yet having such a feeling of disarray in your life.
And you were feeling like your prayers weren’t even reaching the ceiling?
It seemed so spiritually foggy and dead as the intimidating forces of darkness have caused your life to be full of distractions and hindrances that had to be resolved and dealt with. The enemy has been trying to wear you out!
Don’t rely on the past or even yesterday’s dose of The Holy Ghost! How will we react if we are faced like the Israelites were when they faced the Red Sea thinking and murmuring to Moses and blaming him, but they were really offending God!
They murmured in unbelief and doubt and believed that God had forsaken them and that they thought they were on course to be slaughtered by the Egyptians!
In seeing the Egyptians advancing towards the Israelites, the people cried out in fear, doubt, and unbelief towards Moses, and the doubt quickly spread even after seeing such miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt!
How quickly did the Israelites migrate to unbelief even after divine protection covered them! In Goshen, the Israelites were covered and protected miraculously while Egypt was under the judgment of God.
How many of us backslide just a bit when we are left to our own devices and ways of thinking instead of knowing the mind of Christ and standing on that!
You know that when we hear certain things, for instance, like warnings over the TV and town alarms sounding that tornadoes are imminent, these things spark fear and terror.
Just remember what happened on 9-11 and how the nation responded in fear and terror from that event and the lesson that was hopefully learned by many.
However, after 9-11, Churches were filled up with people, but when things calmed back down, people left the Churches and went back to their unchanged, unregenerate lives.
Coming to Christ is a major life change and challenge! There is no more gray area to be idle in.
Christ causes a change that compels us not to live the way we use to. When we accept and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, his Holy Spirit comes inside of us.
When we are converted to Jesus, we are changed! We are to respond to Him first. He is our first and last, he is our first love, not our second or third love.
Many can come to a Church Building or a meeting to meet others but if they are only motivated by the negative or false reporting, it won’t last. Love is what motivates The LORD.
It is through His loving kindness that he leads men to repentance. How can we reject such love! (Study the doctrine of the Nicolaitans in Revelations 2:14-15)
Whose Report will we believe?
True believers in Christ base their lives on God’s Word!
That is why when we come to The LORD we must read and study our Bibles. It isn’t just any book, it is a Holy Book that must be spiritually discerned.
You cannot read The Bible like a textbook, you must pray that The Holy Spirit leads and guides you into all Truth!
One major role of The Holy Spirit is that He is our teacher. We must believe The Report of The LORD!
“But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned,” 1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV.
“But strong meat belong to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil,” Hebrews 5:14 KJV.
Can a warning sound ring and people not tune in?
If you were on a walk and you came upon a lion would you fear if it roared at you?
Publishers publish words but you must learn the agenda and what basis of truth they believe and speak.
What sound do they make to you? Is there a sound of life? Are you tuned in to the same frequency of The Holy Ghost? Or does the sound speak of fear?
Fake news media has an agenda of propaganda to destroy your morale so you will give up by using intimidation, fear, and doubt!
Hear this! Be not deceived; we are at WAR and there is a very important word to receive during wartime. It is called “Know Your Enemy!”
One of the enemy’s titles is called “the prince of the power of the air.” Satan knows the power of the airwaves and wants the power of the press!
He wants to take you! God’s epistle, that is seen and read of all men will press you and hinder you so that you will get pressed down and worn out from all battles and conflict propaganda!
His agenda is always negative. He wants to publish fear, dread, and doubt-based content to as many people as possible, especially in this day and age.
Satan is brainwashing the masses through the secular, socialistic left-wing media propaganda so that the people will give their minds over to believe the lie.
He wants to demoralize you causing you to lose all confidence and hope. Hope deferred makes a heartsick.
“Shall the trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? Shall there be evil in a city, and The LORD hath not done it? Surely The LORD GOD will do nothing but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The LORD GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy? Publish in the palaces at Ashdod and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof. For they know not to do right, saith The LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces. Therefore, thus saith The LORD GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and the palaces shall be spoiled,” Amos 3:6-11 KJV.
Has it been an uneasy and fear felt week? Have you murmured and doubted God and laid down your weapons and amour? Have you laid down your resolve in standing with God and His promises?
Have you given in to the mass hysteria and mockery of the socialistic agenda that is provoking many to doubt and fear? What are you giving yourselves to? What is filling your mind, soul, ears, and mouth?
These are the gates to our bodies. Are you getting your information from fake news media and relying on publications that are not found in agreement with God’s word!
Fake news media makes a mockery of those who stand for God’s Word, His promises, and His prophets.
Baal worship may be an ancient form of idolatry but I assure you in the land of America we have Baal worship and it is alive and well in the nation!
The prophets of Baal are spewing out their garbage in the airwaves and in the press and it is no wonder because Satan is called the prince of the power of the air.
God’s Word has also said that “Surely The LORD will do nothing but…” He will show His secret to His servants the prophets!
Has God changed His mind? What has changed in our forward thrust? Why are we bewildered, stumbling, and faint? We must find out what God is saying to His prophets?!
“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience,” Ephesians 2:2 KJV.
While I was writing this, I saw a vision of a hammer, and immediately I heard, “Is not My Word as a hammer that breaks rocks in pieces? Is not My Word like a hammer that builds and repairs?”
Will we only believe when things seem right? Will we believe when everything seems hopeless and people want to stone us for our message and snuff us out?
Has he not said that he set us over kingdoms to root out, pull down, destroy, throw down, to build, and to plant? If we only believe in a green tree, what shall happen in the dry?
If we have believed the lie and it really looks bad, and it may be very bad! This happened to David! But what did David do when it looked really, really bad at Ziklag?
He had to suck it up, shake it off, and encourage himself in The LORD setting his sights back on seeking The LORD for his answers.
We must encourage ourselves in The LORD and pick ourselves back up and believe what God has said! Has he changed his mind? Let us not be weary in well doing for we shall reap if we faint not.
Remember, there are many battles in a war! One battle doesn’t define you! Setbacks are actually setups to propel us forward!
“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters; but David encouraged himself in The LORD his God. And David enquired at The LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And he (God) answered him; Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all,” 1 Samuel 30:6,8 KJV. (Study 1 Samuel 30)
Whose Report will we believe?
There are so many radical left-wing prophets of Baal out there who report and spin their lies and deceit like a spider spins its web!
It may look and sound like they are true, but whose report is speaking? We can only know God’s Will by His Word and His Holy Prophets.
The sons of Issachar understood the signs of the times they were in and knew what Israel ought to do, (1 Chronicles 12:32).
I predict that there will be greater upheavals than these! Through the many battles in the war of all ages, many will get stronger and lead others.
There will be greater cohesion as the body will remain connected due to the pressure as isolation brings self-destruction. This is not the time to sit out and not pray!
The devil shall continue his temper tantrums since he knows his time is short and he won’t win, but he will try to take as many out that he can to get them caught up into webs of deception!
It is like a spider that spins its web of deceit; hungering and working to snag as many of God’s people as possible! Her agenda is to capture and bite as many unsuspecting souls as possible through deception in her web.
Then she spins them in the spider’s shroud and advances towards them on her time clock to suck them dry at any time she chooses.
The progression is like when a person lets their mind wander and soon they are captivated and captured by a web of deceit!
An illustration is like a black widow. It is interesting that the black widow kills her mate and devours them after mating and she has a red hourglass on her belly that speaks of timing. And what destroys the web of deceit? The Fire of God!
Are you getting the news in your prayer closet with the Word? Or in turning to the leftist news media agenda where there is mocking, and like a slippery snake, it looks like our situation is bleak?
In the nation, if you rely on radical left socialist media spewing out her intimidation, threats, and radical left propaganda you will be bound to the web of deceit and deception.
Let’s get back to trusting God and returning to our first love. Something I’ve noticed, that when things get strange we get quiet and put other things first in our lives.
Then we will start murmuring and complaining, then we open the door through fear, unbelief, and doubt to the enemy. We don’t want to pay the price so we only do so much to get by.
Have we become lazy in our first love relationship when God is silent? Are we so ever driven to find solace somewhere else and turn to the enemy’s plots and schemes doubting everything God has said and promised?
If we have been guilty of the same sin when the Israelites murmured and complained at Moses, or more appropriately, murmuring to God, we are guilty of doubt, unbelief, and fear. We must repent!
Be not overwhelmed by numbers of people and negative propaganda that seems to be winning. With the negative propaganda, there are rumors but we must not allow our heart to faint and become weary.
“And lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumor that shall be heard in the land; a rumor shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumor, and violence in the land ruler against ruler,” Jeremiah 51:46 KJV.
We are supposed to be the temple of God! There are gates into our temple! Our body is to be a “Living” sacrifice unto God!
The temple of The Holy Spirit must be holy and acceptable unto God which is our “reasonable service.” Body of Christ are we doing anything reasonable for God as service to HIM?
I want to get beyond reasonable service in my devotion to The LORD.
“What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of The Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV.
“If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are,” 1 Corinthians 3:17 KJV.
“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by The Holy Ghost,” 2 Peter 1:21 KJV.
Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither be afraid and faint in your mind. The enemy desires you to go into hiding due to the agitation and great upheavals that quake and shake.
We are in a washing cycle and soon we shall spin out all the dirt and be pressed out.
In closing, how and what do we base our foundation and agenda on?
Make God’s Word foundational where you will hear his voice and be led by His Spirit. With God, a minority is a majority.
And YES, there is a pain in transitioning. Don’t give in to fear and doubt in this dark period stay vigilant in prayer and believe the report of The LORD!
“Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from The LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard that the everlasting God, The LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon The LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint,” Isaiah 40:27-31 KJV.
“Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come,” 1 Corinthians 10:10 KJV.
“And ye murmured in your tents and said, because The LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to destroy us,” Deuteronomy 1:27 KJV.
