Developing the Spiritual Disciplines

Sometimes we are pressured in every direction and we are shaken to our very core.

 

Sometimes we are pressured in every direction and we are shaken to our very core.

The enemies desire is to bombard you with the trouble with the cares of this life.

The enemies desire is to see you buckle under the pressure of the turbulent winds and waves of this storm.

As the enemy uses Intimidating winds and words of adversity to shake us, it is in these times and trials that our faith is being tested and your faith is proven in the midst of troubled times and seasons.

Beloved, don’t forget to speak the Word!  God is watching over His word to perform it.

God’s ultimate desire for us is so that others see Christ in you, the hope of glory!  God never wastes anything we go through in life’s trials.

As we apply God’s word to our thoughts, our mind and flesh are being conformed through that process.  These are the lessons of lasting value.

There is no amount of college or university training that can teach us the valuable lessons we glean by days spent in the fields of opposition.

How we react to pressure will show us where we are in our walk of faith.  God already knows our heart, but He wants us to know our own heart!

His great desire through us is to represent Christ to this world so He can trust us with people, having great compassion.

He is with us and walks in and through us as we learn to trust and yield to Him in all circumstances.  He wants us to conquer us!

Our flesh is our greatest enemy.  As we learn to die to our flesh daily, it brings newness of life In those areas conquered.

Yes, the process for growth isn’t easy but so worth it beloved.

As we learn to yield completely to the Holy Spirit in us, He wants to trust us with His heavenly vision and treasures!

There are experiences and places in God that we cannot even fathom! It is far beyond anything this world has to offer.

The LORD gives us the free will to choose just how much of heaven do we want on earth.

To walk in heavenly places takes a strong deliberate choice and a powerful effort to become sold out to God’s will.

As we mature and die daily, things that hinder our walk are cut away.  When our only desire becomes “Him” it will cost us everything to develop such a hunger for God.

God’s Word, praise, worship, fasting, and prayer are the Christian disciplines that develop the avenue for emancipation!

Beloved, it is our choice and decision to hunger and thirst after righteousness for in doing so, we shall be filled.

Beloved many Christians never scratch the surface in wanting more of God.  Even though some were given great messages of prophecy that were supposed to be moving in their destiny, but they are not.

Many people see the price and back down and settle, not wanting to know anymore.  They get comfortable and back down to where things were good like before.

Living on memories and past experiences is all those people have.  Those that fail to move on with God is their choice.

God gave them free will and choice.  Our job is to pray for them and move on with the LORD.

Being superficial in our relationship with the LORD makes us have superficial lives.  This word is to encourage and to exhort those who want everything God has for them!

Beloved, we have read of people who had such amazing lives in ministry.  People like Smith Wigglesworth, Maria Woodworth Etter and other generals of the faith.

God is no respecter of persons, and if he did it for them, He can do it for us! It is very possible to walk with God in a deeper way to impact many lives and to know Him in such an incredible way!

Just imagine walking in such freedom!  I have longed and desired this type of love walk with God since I came to know Him.

As we die to our will and only want His will, the Holy Spirit in our innermost being can be liberated in us and through us.

He wants to flow through our body and soul to reach the world! We must measure ourselves according to the plumbline of God’s Word and to the degree of desire we have within.

Repentance of sin is ongoing as we are serious about removing all idolatry in our lives.

We must become hungry, desperate, and famished for God if we desire to see His wonders to perform.

Jesus walked the earth, knowing desperately that having that time with His Father was a necessity, not an option.

Jesus only did what His Father said. It is our choice beloved, of how much of God we really want.

Personally, I am on a trek with God, seeking Him with my whole being.  I only want Him and His will.

I pray that God will stir your heart to be laid down lovers with Him and be one in all things.

“To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,”   Ephesians 3:10 KJV.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ,”   Ephesians 1:3 KJV.

There are issues that plague all of us, but they teach us to glean from these type of experiences that gives substance to our faith.

The seed of the Word must be cultivated in and through the midst of trial and tribulation.  It is the proving ground of our heart condition.

We are not able to see the seeds sown until they sprout and are revealed as the tiny plant pushes through the soil.

You may feel your efforts are fruitless, but beloved, sow those seeds; tend your garden.

You will eventually see the results!  The plants are proven and soon the fruit of the vine appears! Just one seed yielded so much harvest!

God always does things exponentially!

Like the seeds and planting, tending, and harvesting, it is a work of grace similar to how we are developing in God.

We must prepare the soil of our hearts, and then plant the word and work the Word!

Pull out those weeds, make sure it is watered and tended to.  There will come a day when you will harvest the fruits of your labor.

“Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools,”   Psalms 84:6 KJV.

“And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me,”   Isaiah 65:10 KJV.

“And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt,”   Hosea 2:15 KJV.

God can advance us and he wants us to know that even in the midst of troubling times he knows our frame and watches over us.  The LORD’s care and concern also include; watching how we react to things.

There is a price beloved, in wanting all God has for you. I would be amiss and very mistaken if I didn’t share the balance of these things.

But understand this, I am not saying this is easy.  You will enter intense spiritual warfare.

However we are overcomers, but the enemy will check every avenue and door or crack that is open so he can come in and try to hinder or stop you.

There will be confrontations with the adversaries works and you will be more acutely aware of them.

Along with the blessings of the LORD and walking closely with Him, the enemy will do everything he can to stop you!

He specially will attempt to keep distractions ongoing so that you are so busy that you have no time to pray.

Being prayerless causes us to be careless.  Beloved if we are too busy for prayer, then we are too busy.

What is it that keeps you distracted and so busy that you have no time for the LORD in prayer and intimacy?

Prayer is our lifeline to God. It is our hotline to heaven.  You will find not only the enemy hindering you and your prayer life, but what is worse?

The enemy will use our own flesh against us to resist prayer and be distracted by so many things.

The enemy, along with your flesh, will think of a million things you could be doing instead of getting alone, and quiet before the LORD.

Our first love relationship is Jesus!  That is our first ministry. He wants to fellowship with us and wants to share secrets to those who are trustworthy.

His great love is for His bride.  We must develop a listening ear and heart.  God delights in us as we seek Him and read His word.

Beloved, test the spirits for many are out there and they are not of God.  We cannot rightly test anything if we are prayerless.  If I haven’t prayed, I don’t say anything to God’s people.

We cannot trust anyone but God!  When we have pulled away from our life source in fellowship and intimacy with the LORD, we are wide open for invasion.

The enemies of our soul will plan for weeks in advance, causing distractions to move us away from our prayer time and intimacy with the LORD.

We must be alert and on guard not to lose our sensitivity to God.  If that happens we won’t be able to hear and discern the LORD.  Prayer is not an option it is a necessity!

Beloved of God, this is my first ministry, my first love; I fellowship with Him and I know I can do nothing without Him.

He is my heavenly husband so I pray because I adore Him.  I don’t do it out of obligation.

I am in love with my master and I dwell with Him because I love Him and I want to.

I must pray also and intercede for others.  Because of ministry related reasons, I must pray and intercede for others especially my ministry network. Intercession should flow out from the results of our overflow in our prayer time.

We should desire all He has for us!  We must continue to resist the devil and press into prayer and intercession.

Daily prayer time makes us sensitive to God and also if demonic warfare is near.  For every Christian, prayer is that necessity.

Prayer is our first calling, our first ministry; our communion with Him and His body.  Prayer is foundational; nothing can happen without prayer.

It isn’t just something we have to do, it is something we eagerly want to do to hear His voice.  We should learn to be still and know He is God.

We should desire to mature in God, but that takes discipleship and that root word is discipline.

Prayer is a spiritual discipline that we acquire.  Everyone who confesses Jesus is LORD and Savior is a Christian, ALL of us are to pray.

That is something we all have to do, by learning how to communicate to God through prayer.

If you feel like prayer is something you avoid, something you have to do.  That is the wrong motives.

I would suggest to get serious with God and dedicate some time to fast and pray.

There are many ways to fast, and if you need more understanding on that, message me and I will speak with you.

Ask the LORD to help you and ask Him to manifest His best for you.  Also seek the LORD and ask Him to reveal Himself to you and to give you a greater awareness of His presence.

Ask Him that you greatly desire to come closer to His presence.

I believe fasting and prayer should be something we do very often.  It takes off the rough edges we acquire from living life.

Fasting also causes us to get more centered on God.  The important thing is to take that time and dedicate it to how many hours or days you feel led to do, and give yourself to prayer and Bible study.

When you begin, tell God you want to become sensitive to Him.

There are many ways to fast.  God will honor whatever is done towards Him in sincerity.

When you fast, be sure you spend time with Him and consume the Word.  For example, I take a pill everyday and it requires that I eat with it, so very often I will fast two meals a day.

I get up early at 5:00 a.m. and dedicate my time to Him from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I don’t eat but one meal after 5:00 p.m. and depending on what the fast is all about.

The most important portion is that you seek God with all your heart and with that time and study the Bible and write what He gives you.

Beloved, God will honor any type of fast you dedicate to Him, just do it.  I also don’t watch TV when I fast.

It can be many things.  The object is for the LORD to anoint you with fresh oil and to make you sensitive so that you desire to be closer to God.

He will honor that fast beloved.  Fasting helps us get back into alignment with God and those who we are close to.

“And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,”   1 Thessalonians 4:7 KJV.

At War With Religion

Trying to create a controlled environment is attempting to box up the Spirit of God.

“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth, so is everyone that is born of the Spirit,”   John 3:8 KJV.

Trying to create a controlled environment is attempting to box up the Spirit of God.

When we are operating in our limited knowledge and through our own experiences, it is not only impossible but dangerous!

Religion is alive and well!

Christ did not set us free from religion only to return to it.  Jesus had his strongest rebukes and confrontations with the spirit of religion working through the pharisees and scribes.

These were those who had the control of the temple.  They created a box that they only picked the best of the best or the most perfect of the perfect.

No one could gain access into their outrageous requirements unless they followed suit.

Jesus took His message outside the gates where the people were like sheep without a shepherd.

“But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves,”   Matthew 23:13-15 KJV.

Those of us also who love and follow Jesus will face this unwanted foe.

This religious spirit will always strive against the pure move of God’s Spirit through His beloved children.

Being childlike in Christ, is simplicity.  Religion and religious people put people into bondage through their erroneous teaching and their imputed behavior modifications.

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate,”    Matthew 23:37-38 KJV.

These foes of Christ are still at work today in the churches that say they are of Christ but through their religion made a mockery of Christ’s redemption and simplicity.

When we received Christ as our savior, redeemer and LORD, HE set us free from the law of sin and death.

Religion is a return to bondage; being a Christian isn’t a religion but a relationship with the divine.

Religion seeks to box in the Spirit of God.

Trying to box in and surround the Holy Spirit is in all actualization, manipulating and controlling the people saying it is the Spirit of God.

Any bogus claims of spiritual authority are stressed and they proclaim to have inside information and understanding from the Holy Spirit and that takes all freedom and choice away.

This religious and Jezebel spirit can be very cunning and dangerous to the true children of God.

When a religious spirit is present it seeks control and it will quench the true Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit is not limited only by our experiences.  The Holy Spirit is vast and moves when he wills.

The LORD wants us to be sensitive and flexible to the leading of the Holy Spirit.  God wants us to guard against becoming religious.  We are in a relationship with Christ not a religion.

When a religious spirit is present, it seeks out and uses leadership by putting us into bondage and that spirit limits the way the Spirit of God can move among us.

The spirit of religion cannot control unless men seek to box it into their erroneous teachings.

Its desire is to completely quench and snuff out the moving of the Holy Spirit.

What is so dangerous is that a pseudo spiritual experience, or “feeling” replaces the moving of God’s Spirit and it brings great deception and strong delusion.

A ministry may start out as free and moving in the Holy Spirit but after awhile when God’s people get free, many let down their guard.

May we all develop our basics of prayer, reading the word of God, study and worship so we will remain sensitive and flexible to how the Spirit of the LORD wishes to move among us.

Take off the chains of bondage and be free indeed!  Amen?  It is the number one way the enemy and the flesh gets us bound up from freedom to slavery.

Some of the characteristics of religious spirits and their churches are, the people are really there to meet the needs of the leaders, rather than the leaders for the people.  This can be in the form of ego, finances, power and position.

True leaders/ shepherds will help, guard, protect, and build the flock so the flock can walk in its own strength.  The shepherds don’t own the flock.  A true shepherd always points people to dependence upon Jesus and to God as our Source.

Religious spirits continually remind the people of their own authority, because it isn’t based on Godly character, their message or their lifestyle.

The most distinctive characteristic of a religious spirit, system, or leader is the over emphasis on their authority.

A religious spirit claims that God Himself commands the leaders so they have the right to demand and command the followers.  They say the Word is not the final authority, the leader is.

Loyalty is demanded by the religious spirit instead of to Christ.  Often manipulation, control and fear are utilized if you do not follow their agenda.

They use secrecy, to manipulate by causing insecurity and the fear of not fitting in.  Those who do not have the special status the religious spirit gives them, gets shunned by the group.

False prophecy, teaching and preaching give you no option or access to the “pseudo” truths they say they receive.

Make no mistake beloved, theirs is a devious plan wanting total obedience to their agenda.

They exclude the whole counsel of God’s Word through false doctrines, unbalanced teaching and trusting in ones spirituality.

Religious, emotional manipulations are seeking to control you!  Be aware!  It will never get better!

Religion’s goal is in bringing you into bondage through the doctrines of man and the devil.  The stronger the control, and manipulation, the more likely you will face very unpleasant and unhealthy consequences.  Especially when you seek to leave and find a new Christ centered ministry.

We are called as part of the Body of Christ, and it is by the liberating power of the Holy Spirit that saves and keeps us.

You were called to freedom!  There are many religions but we are called to a relationship with Jesus Christ and HIS body.

Keep looking until you find where you fit in the plan of God.  Find what gives you respect and good mental health.

Cracked, Broken and Impossible?

The LORD says: “I AM at work and My loving kindness is leading many out of wandering in hunger and thirst.”

I AM dealing with My prodigals and you shall see them from a long way off as I have been wooing them to come back.

Beloved Prodigals, COME FORTH IN JESUS’ NAME!

Shake thyself from the bonds of your neck, and realize you are released.  Sin cannot hold you down, afflictions shall not stop My will in you.

You may think the time of your absence has been too long, and you just accepted and settled in your sin since you feel you can never be free.

You feel life has passed you by and you have nothing left to offer because of the bondage of sin.

Everything has been kept but cannot be restored until you come home beloved child of Mine.

As you move towards Me, the increase of My grace is upon you.  When you feel no worth come home to Me,” says the LORD.

“I say that My favor is upon you, what I started in you, I will be faithful to complete in you.

Even as you read this the longing of your heart is causing great tears of sorrow to arise.  I see you a far off beloved, come unto Me.

Beloved, come home to your Heavenly Father totally today, and I will be faithful to complete what I began in you.

Even as you read this, you have tears of conviction and desire as your tears are emptying out of what has kept you from your portion beloved.

Even as you are reading this, shackles are being broken and your stride is wide and as you see your Father running to you, you begin to run again too.

Satan knows I rest in your Spirit and no matter how he tries to put out your eyes and snuff out your life, he has no power unless you have granted him access to your soul and body.

As you return to your Father’s house, you shall be restored and I will raise you up again beloved.

You shall press in as My Spirit rises in thee, and it is not your strength that accomplishes this, but Me.

Your future shall be great, for you shall push great walls and great pillars down that kept you bound.

The tribulation and anger of your soul shall awaken the hordes of hell to scream in retreat, for what I began I will complete.

When you have no strength, I AM strength!  I make the weak strong.

You cannot fathom to understand the plans I have for you, but in that sudden time, I will move!

I AM moving in vessels that are broken, cracked beyond repair, but the glory in the cracked vessels is not the former glory, but a brand new understanding of completeness in ME!

I AM the head of all principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness.

I decree from your innermost being a rising of My sword.  For as My Word is formed in you, My Word shall become flesh in you!

You have been alone even in the midst of many people for a very long time, yet they do not understand.  However, I understand and you will not be been pushed aside.

Many may walk on by and cross the other side declaring you unfit to carry my word, but I prepared in advance your life, and the plans I have for you include a map of my fire of Glory!

GLORY FIRE will catch on many dead branches bringing radical  Christianity to the U.S.A. and around the whole world.

Even now deception rises, saying that the God of the whole earth is only a God of Love.

I AM also a God of justice and I discipline My children.  I AM also thy Rod and thy Staff.  A child left to himself will be ruined.

My salvation is a finished work; I did it all beloved!  Now it is time to prepare and to proclaim, declare and win many to full discipleship.  I have gone before you and made the way clear.

I knew you before you knew yourself.  I knew you in your mother’s womb.  I know the very thoughts and intentions of your very heart! I seek out the desolate hearts of those who seek My way.

Say not that it is too late, for now I say is the day of salvation!

As cracked vessels beyond repair, you may not look like much or have much education, but I shall take the wisdom of the so called wise and raise up these broken and cracked ones to speak and write My oracles.

These shall be as children in My sight as they delight in the presence of Abba.  It will be seen and said that My cracked broken vessels will experience the Glory Cloud of My presence and My fire will burn up all the wood, hay and stubble till only the raw elements remain of gold, silver and precious stones.

My Levites shall be about the things of My presence.  Your inheritance is ME says the LORD.

Your destiny has been predetermined, for you shall serve me in holiness all the days of your life.

Others may have lots of possessions, and you haven’t.  I AM your INHERITANCE and GREAT REWARD!

Be greatly encouraged My beloved, for you shall lack in nothing you need,”  says the LORD of Hosts!

The Tipping Point And Cradle That Rocks

Beloved of God, I wanted to take some time to thank you and express my love to you.

Beloved of God, I wanted to take some time to thank you and express my love to you.

I also wanted to remind myself and all of you to not get alarmed or discouraged by the shifting of the sand.

The people’s opinions will keep us in a tailspin, so we must take our eyes off them and concentrate on God’s will.

So, don’t worry about where you are spiritually and momentarily; all is well.  God has a plan beloved and you are in that plan.

He knows your feelings and how you feel like everything in your life has been tossed up into the air.

God is shifting and aligning people into position and it will continue for some time.

The LORD is bringing new people for a new beginning.  We are in the midst of major transitioning into various places, locations, both in ministries and out of ministries.

I can see a vision;  A salt shaker and I see people with big eyes and they shout out as they are being sprinkled out bringing salt and flavor to the region.

It is a preserving work of redemption and grace where each are being shaken.

The LORD is redeeming the ground and the time for the days are evil.  Being shaken isn’t a pleasant feeling but necessary.

Everything that can be shaken will be, so that those things that cannot be shaken will remain.

Understand and be secure beloved and know God is preparing all of us no matter what.  HE is in control!

You may feel isolated and have no fellowship but know this beloved, God has prepared the NET-Work to care for you and his people; to prepare them right where they are.

Everywhere your feet take you have been giving to you to possess.  Look around you beloved as you go about your day.

Begin to see the harvest of souls taking place because you are in the proper place for that harvest NET.

Begin beloved to see farther than just flat desolate land, begin to see into the Spirit for the purposes God has set in motion by His orders.  He will have a people in the earth on a grand scale.

You are not alone beloved, and there are more with you than you realize.  Where God is taking and placing you are the areas of his heart strings.

His heart has been pulled on and He is going out of His way to answer the cries of your heart and the hearts of others.

There’s a specific connection He is giving you; a ministry connection online.

You must hear His voice and fit in that place for it is for the formation of the corporate anointing of harvest in the formation of the NET-Work.

As everything begins to settle down that was tossed up into the air, you will begin to understand more.

The LORD is doing a mighty redemption to cleanse the lands from the blood curses that have been in the very ground, and the LORD has heard the cries from the ground!

Nothing is hidden or mistakenly forgotten beloved.  You are in the very cradle that rocks with the cries of the unborn and the shed blood of innocents! Nothing has escaped His hearing!  You are His witnesses!

The NET-Work shall include covering lands and regions, to displace demonic strongholds that have been entrenched.

You are NOT alone.  When one rejoices we all do, when one is hurt we all hurt.

Remember to pray for each other.  We should always keep our mind on the things of God.  Man will fail but Jesus has this!  He will never fail.  Trust in that beloved!

Be encouraged beloved of God!

We are at the cusp of historical proportions of destiny and fulfillment coming together, for the plowman shall overtake the reaper.  Much love as always beloved!

“All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. n that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.  And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.  And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God,”   Amos 9:10-15 KJV.
