Resting and Abiding in the Presence of the Lord

Resting and Abiding in HIS presence is so important for renewal.  It is just as important as in marching forward in a war.

Timings, seasons, activity and rest all have important implications that God knows we need.

Quit striving, fretting and going no where.  Have you not learned yet that the more you strive the more frustrated you get?  When I lead you there won’t be guessing, for MY sheep know My voice….  Religious spirits drive you.  I will lead you.

Learn to become comfortable in whatever state God has you in…. you carry his spirit in you.

Peace be still. Be still and KNOW I AM GOD.

“Times of refreshing come from the presence of the LORD,”   Acts 3:19.

Paul learned and acquired the ability to be content.  Think about Paul sitting in a prison for such a long time.  He had no idea the greatest thrust of his ministry would come from his writings to the church.  He learned to be content as we must acquire and learn to be content in all sorts of situations.  Refinement comes when we have learned to be silent and content.

“Not that I speak in respect of want; for I have learned in whatever state I am in there with to be content,”   Philippians 4:11 KJV.
