Some Symptoms Of False Humility

When you ask a person or Christian “What is false humility?”  many come up with an example or two.

I asked a question the other day and the LORD moved me to study this deeper.

When you ask a person or Christian “What is false humility?”  many come up with an example or two.

A person who is humble is in it for the long haul, not short term self interests.  Humility is often associated or seen as low self esteem, but in reality, it is the arrogant who are distorted.

It is easy to fake interest in another individual’s existence, especially it there is something in it for us,  i.e. recognition, status or some sort of benefit.

Another example of false humility are the pretenders who try to be something they are not and in reality are self deceived.  They will pretend to be generous, but in reality, they are self centered.

Sometimes people don’t even realize their behaviors are that way; even well meaning and seasoned people do not understand this problem.

Proud and arrogant people are exaggerated in their own viewpoint.  They seek to have the consideration and credit for everything.

Yes, if we remain in real repentance, it will keep us accountable, keeping us honest and open, as; “living epistles seen and read of all men”  Being real and up front is a good thing, and it keeps us humble.

“Do we begin again to commend ourselves?  Or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?  Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart,”   2 Corinthians 3:1-3 KJV.

The devil likes to twist words, and we all have different backgrounds and with some it is harder than others.

We each live life and God uses everything we go through.  The enemy will try to get to us coming or going.

Satan wants to stomp us down where we feel useless and unwanted.  Then we start feeling good about ourselves and he throws in a wrench to shake our confidence in Christ.

However, he tries to push us further from confidence into pride.  Pride is his goal, why?

That was the same sin that God through him out of heaven for.

If the devil can get us to believe we have pride instead of confidence, it will shut us up, because we love Jesus and in our heart of hearts we know we don’t want to do nothing to offend our Jesus.

So we go through various stages of deliverance in our walk, and each one God leads us through is designed to free us more and more.

Yes, in sacrificing our Ishmaels, how many times have our own self interests kept us from victory over the years?  How many times have we got ahead of God?

Yes, when we have rough backgrounds in the particular area of being put down and disqualified, with self hate, and self criticisms.  If the enemy can’t get us coming he gets us going.

Developing confidence is a long, love lesson from Jesus.  We all want love.  As we understand and learn God’s kind of love, being accepted is what we crave and desire.

Our needs are only met by our Jesus and he fills those areas with himself.

If we begin to think that we are better than other people, we become less worthy and we lose what qualities we earn through trial and testing that makes us more valuable to the cause of Christ.

The more advanced we go in Christ we, the humble maintain their agenda to be His feet into His will and His glory!

Humility is also putting others first.  It resists the temptation to act or intend to view one’s own power, position, or reputation.

Fake humility seeks to gain approval and won’t give up; It pretends.

I read of a man that learned how to profit from his mistakes.  Throughout his career he was willing to learn from his mistakes.

He was a man of great ambitions, however he was a man of humility, and because of this, he was able to see with greater moral clarity.  Regardless of his decisions, he owned up to mistakes.

Real humility builds up; false humility tears down.

We are to look into the mirror of God’s word as a humble leader, we search out of the reflection from the mirror of God’s word.

The more accountability and responsibility a person has, the more humility is required.

If a person comes to me, and they say “God told them to do this thing for you.”  I say okay, if God told them to do it, they depend on God and they are doing it for God and not man, right?

The rewards must come from God right?  If your agenda and motive are wrong, your focus will be on man and it will always disappoint.  These types of actions won’t last if they are doing it for some sort of reward.

For example; If someone is doing something for me, the motive is made manifest by God.

If the motive is false humility, you are trying to gain advantage, access or attain a position for some sort of personal benefit, and not God.

Manipulation and control are very devious ways to gain access for advancement of their own purpose.  Manipulation and control have no place in a true selfless act.

People who carry and seek an agenda, try to manipulate the one served.  These are actually there to serve their own benefit, attention, recognition, purpose and AGENDA.

I tell people, if God told you to do it, don’t expect me to ask.  If God told you to do it, that is between you and him regardless of my position in the situation!  Don’t expect me to run you down and ask anything, because you are doing it for HIM, not me.

I am only a servant as we all are, and we work for him regardless of the job he gives us to do.

We are accountable to HIM!  May we all check our hearts and motives and respond accordingly.  No more false humility, Amen?

“That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.  “For his letters,” say they, “are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.”
Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you. For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ: Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,”
   3 Corinthians 10:9-15 KJV.

A Closer Look, ‘His Grace Is Sufficient’

Only God can remake and redeem a shattered heart. It is just like a precious crystal vase when dropped, breaks into many pieces.

Only God can remake and redeem a shattered heart.

It is just like a precious crystal vase when dropped, breaks into many pieces.  There are so many deeper depths, of this truth.

Being shattered comes with so many slivers that you cannot see.  We may be in this place today, but it seems hopeless.  It has been such a long time, and other attempts, futile.

However, once we resign to God’s will and look deeper, one can only fathom the dynamics of such a undertaking.

For unless we have walked through such times ourselves, how do we have substance in our walk of faith?  God wants to bring substance to our faith; our testimony.

Life comes with many lessons, and by growth, we are exercised to believe God’s word.

When we hear of others who were openly broken or shattered then miraculously healed; We ask ourselves and God, “What about me?  What is wrong with me?”

His grace is sufficient.

There are those that seem impossible to be healed.

His grace is sufficient.

We know and realize that no man can fix us, instead, we must trust God.

It may be years of built up residue, but those slivers are still sharp as ever.  His grace is sufficient.

After going through so many prayer lines and prayer requests, inside we resign these things over to God.

We move on and throw the easily seen pieces away.  Then with what strength we have, we sweep out the unseen, whisking away all that we see outwardly.

His Grace is sufficient.

A shattered heart may seem like an impossible wound, but in God, all things are possible. His grace is sufficient.

Beloved, you are not rejected, you are accepted.  Continue walking on beloved, because it is through life experiences, that God qualifies us to be His choice counselor’s that He can use.

We walk on, trusting His purpose in each step.  Knowing he is our redeemer and has the power and purpose to do all things.

We give Him praise, In Jesus’ name!

“And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.  For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.  Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong,”   2 Corinthians 12:7-10 KJV.

The Timing Of The Corporate Center

My thoughts beloved; I am NOT my own. I have been bought with an expensive, costly price. Jesus is Lord of my life always!  I was taught that my righteousness is like filthy rags.

My thoughts beloved; I am NOT my own.  I have been bought with an expensive, costly price.

Jesus is Lord of my life always!  I was taught that my righteousness is like filthy rags.

When I received the Lord, I said NO to demonic chatter!

There are those religious spirits who feel they must control us and act as our sheriff or umpire, calling us out!  I had to learn and realize that I am part of a bigger picture.  It is not me, myself and I.  NO!  It is Christ in me, the hope of glory!.

When we think we are ALL we need, we are tipping closer toward calamity.  We cannot live the life of the flesh and religion and be free; It is impossible, beloved!

The chasm has widened and there are no more gray areas!  The time is come for all people to return to their first love.

Hear this beloved!  The chasm has widened and no longer able to live with one foot in and the other foot out.

We must know the times we are in.  Know your enemy!

All religion, in all forms, is a return to bondage.  You started off good, then what happened to take that joy away?

An evangelist promised that if you came forward, you would be saved and cleansed of all sin.  What happened?  Why isn’t it joyful like it was when we received Christ?  What happened?

Well sounding and well meaning demonic inspired people found you and they began working on your mind to get you to doubt and not believe the truth.

Oh so sorry to have to say that!  However it is necessary to know your enemy!

That is the most important thing to know in warfare; know your enemy!  These types of spirits work through well meaning people.

The enemy is often far more serious about attendance at Church, rather than true believers are!

Picture this, a huge 10,000 seat Church filled with people and God opens your eyes and you see a small group of true believers in the center of that place.  It is shocking when he opens your eyes!

Many so called Christians are nothing but religious spirits!  They are staunch, miserable people!  Just listen to what they say.

They don’t teach you the freedom we have in Christ!  These spirits know who you are, even though the people don’t.

Beloved of God, we must be equipped with the gift of discerning of spirits.  We must come into the corporate anointing; the gathering of those of one heart, one mind and one accord.  Don’t you hear the sound to be ready?

Being part of a corporate body provides safety and many wonderful benefits beloved!  God has a place for you to plug into; even if it is on-line.

Social media gatherings and the Five Fold Ministry are just as inspired by God as big name Church groups!  Know who you are and don’t be shaken.

There are groups of people who are demonically inspired religious people!  Most times these don’t know why they act ugly to you.

Then there are true demoniacs who know what they are doing.  I guarantee beloved, that what is in them doesn’t want you to get free and appear on the scene with the anointing of Truth!  You can learn a lot by listening in silence.

“And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,”   1 Thessalonians 4:11 KJV.

Self righteousness and pride seek to divide.  When we seek to preserve our flesh instead of dying to the flesh, it leads us further down the slope of religious deception and heeding the voices of devils.

When we come to Christ, we enter His Kingdom.  We are one in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

We are no longer alone, but we have become part of the body of Christ.

We are part of an amazing plan that God knows about, and we are no longer just an individual, but part of the amazing bigger picture of union with His Body.

The LORD desires us to be one with HIM!  His corporate body are mutually dependent and accountable, one to the other.

Each gift is so needed to function in harmony.  How can I say I don’t need a prophet or apostle?  Would you actually say to your eyes that you don’t need them?

Religious people/ spirits strive and divide!  They seemingly flourish so to speak, because of popular doctrines which they push like drug dealers.

These people don’t want to hear the truth.  These people feed among half truths and promote chaos and drama wherever they go.

Their goal is to shake you and seek to devour you!  Give no more place to the devil.  Remain among those who are one heart, one mind and one accord.

Those who rebel and seek to destroy a precious soul, fight against God.  These impostors go about making their own little Prophet’s Corner, or Apostle’s Cafe and say “Come on and have a heyday!”

They are those who say or live with the attitude that says; I am my own prophet, my own savior, and my own deliverer!

They are clearly self deluded and anchored in pride.  A twisting spirit is in their mouths, just like a Leviathan, swinging its tail, seeking to twist your words and beliefs.  It is his last ditch effort to roll you over and over, so you are confused.

Give no more place or room for the lies and attempts at twisting words.  Don’t listen to them, or give any place to the devil.

Don’t let him steal your peace or rob you of harmony in the body of Christ.  The Word of God is near thee, even in your heart and mouth, in the words you speak.

As I close this portion of teaching, I would advise to find your place and plug into it.

I would also say that we are not a island to ourselves.  We fit somewhere!

I am not my own and I don’t belong to me.  I die, so HE lives big in me and I receive His righteousness.

The middle man was cut out for us over two thousand years ago.  His name is Jesus!

He took our place and gave gifts to man.  The remnant is learning we all are part of a bigger picture!

We are transitioning and coming into alignment into the corporate body.  Don’t be late!

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent,”   Acts 17:30 KJV.

“And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not,”   Revelation 2:21 KJV.

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent,”   Revelation 3:19 KJV.

Confederacy, Union and ‘As One’!

God has a design for our life and knows every step we must take. Our hearts and motives are laid bare before God.

God has a design for our life and knows every step we must take.  Our hearts and motives are laid bare before God.

There are things we hide behind that we don’t even realize.  When things seem so strange and I cannot pinpoint it; I get confused, it usually signals that I am getting exhausted.

Because of exhaustion and not having time to build up my own reserves, I become susceptible to enemy attacks.

Unknown or forgotten motives of our heart can sometime be pricked because of our hidden issues, especially when we have no idea that we harbor any measure of grudge, unforgiveness, things we thought were resolved.

We may need to seek greater resolutions with our brothers and sisters for healing. Forgiveness doesn’t mean we have to agree with their point of view or walk with them.

We can have times when we thought a wound was healed, and we are shocked that we didn’t realize that scar can be aggravated and inflamed.

Even from thinking it was long ago resolved, then the shock and reality of what we are feeling now!  Having to face it now after all these years?

There are levels of healing we go through when God knows we are ready for them.

God knows our heart and motives, even if we do not.  He knows us better than we know ourselves.

I may not understand why I react a certain way, or why I feel so bound, but I have learned that God’s Word is not bound.  God knows where we are on His timeline.  Trust Him beloved.

God brings hidden things to the surface because He wants resolution and healing so we can move forward into His perfect will.

When we come across this type of thing, God wants to take us deeper in healing and placement in the body making us one heart, mind and one accord.  For when we love each other, we love God.

At times we have hidden our hearts.  Wounds have a way of joining in with others who agree with our wounds.  This is only step one in woundedness.

When step two in woundedness happens, that causes us to separate further with division opening us up to step three; religion.  I am not saying it is always the case.

When we respond to what takes us away from God’s will and His people, it is not God’s way.  We are to pray with a pure heart with pure motives.

Do we always handle things that way?  Is it perfect?  NO!  Are we to strive for the mastery?  Yes!   He wants His body to be one.

Yes, we move on the path for our feet and do our best to forgive and let them go.

I know everyone doesn’t fit together.  I am talking about those of us who are tender hearted and pricked in the heart about lost relationships.

Our part of our healing is to pray, forgive them, loose them and let them go, with our blessing.

I humbly submit this exhortation of our Lord Jesus, to those who hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.  I don’t know what all has happened with people.

God keeps me from becoming too close to any group or any individual.  He will not let me read other prophecies or words unless He specifically leads me to them.

As for me, He wants what I say to be pure and not be motivated or influenced by man.  It is rare that I read many words from others.  Seriously, only after I post a word does He allow me to read the responses and confirmations that come my way.

Being loyal is first to God, then to stand with our beloved brethren and to try our best to help bring healing.

Division comes, and we must guard against it.  However, it is often one way the gospel is pushed out into other places regardless of how it happened.  Paul and Barnabas parted ways due to a sharp disagreement.

And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus; And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.  And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches,”   Acts 15:39-41.

We learn and grow and then we outgrow our placement and move on.  Not all will remain with you.

God moves people where He wants them.  We are not to attach ourselves to man, but be connected with each other and respect one another and each of our boundaries.

We must guard against those who seek to attach to someone, when it isn’t with the right motive.  This behavior is typical for someone who recognizes the gifts which they also want

If not taught properly, this focus (on gifts of another) can become a form of idolatry and invite Jezebel in.  We are free and we each are individuals who have our place.  We seek Him for that place, and yes, we respect leaders.

Our enemy is satan and our enemies are demons, and they use people.  We need to remember that when we shoot a arrow, that it is aimed rightly and it hits the demon and not the person.

There is a civil war raging within the church.  Let us remember freedom is never free, it cost many lives for the freedoms we enjoy.

As intercessors and prayer warriors, we understand the battle and we must become sharp and aim at the right targets.

Even seasoned intercessors or warriors can become burned out.  We get tired, worn out, intolerant, judgmental, become religious or legalistic, because we move further away from dependence on God alone.

Then we slip on the slippery slope being susceptible to the voice of the enemy.  What we then begin doing is relying on fumes, instead of being energized by the Holy Spirit.

Once this happens, the works of the flesh will take us further away from dependence on God alone.  When you get to this place, THEN is the time to pull away from everything, everyone and press into the LORD.

Retreat is God’s method of order, beloved!  Learn when to pull away; watch for signs.

In this hour, as we yield, abiding in the LORD’s presence, we must be so sharp with God’s Word as to be able to rightly divide the word of truth and to use the Word of God as our weapon against our demonic enemy; not against our brother.

Harvest is upon us and people get saved and free!  However, immediately, well meaning people then try to put us under their specific type of bondage.

Confederacy and Unity

A confederacy is a political union.  For example; a group of conspirators banded together to achieve some harmful or illegal purpose.  © vocabulary.com.

The southern confederacy held bids and catered to the shareholders on their plantations that were worked by the purchase of slaves.  In American history, this was the stench of our nation’s history; the slave trade in our nation.

These southern state soldiers were also referred to Rebels.

Are we free or are we enslaved with a yoke of slavery?

We must learn how to be free ourselves, for then we can set the captives free.

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness as idolatry,”   1 Samuel 15:23.

As Christians, we fight for the freedom of our brethren and those who need to be saved, and bring them into UNION; the unity of the faith, in Jesus’ Name!
