Religious or Relational

Religion makes people intolerant and mean — with nasty faces and judgmental, critical attitudes.

Religion makes people intolerant and mean — with nasty faces and judgmental, critical attitudes.

Yes, these are so miserable they want everyone to be as miserable as they are.  These religious forget where they came from and turn into unhappy miserable people.

The religious spirit expects everyone to buck up and get with their program!

Now Jesus was not religious and He went to where the people were.  Jesus had a divine appointment set in motion by God.

Jesus only did what he saw His Father do and say.  He purposely went down to Samaria, to encounter face-to-face a woman whom the Jews hated, and called all Samaritans, half breeds and dogs.

The Samaritan woman went to the well and Jesus interacted with her, not condemning her, but speaking into her life.  Jesus made it so simple for her that a child could understand.

4 But He needed to go through Samaria.  5 So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.”  8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?”  For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.”
16 Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”
17 The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.”
Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ 18 for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.”
19 The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.”
21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”
26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”

The Whitened Harvest
27 And at this point His disciples came, and they marveled that He talked with a woman; yet no one said, “What do You seek?” or, “Why are You talking with her?”
28 The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, 29 “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30 Then they went out of the city and came to Him,”
 John 4:4-30 NKJV.

This woman was married many times and a sinner, but after that encounter with Jesus she was told clearly that He was HER Messiah!

Oh, the goodness and mercy of God!  That day she became the first woman evangelist taking the message from Messiah to all her people in Samaria.

Jesus didn’t condemn her for her many marriages but what He did was, He revealed himself to her to such a degree that it changed her whole life and destiny by giving hope to her people.

Have we have forgotten where we came from?

Religious faces, thoughts, words and all religious behavior are intolerant and mean spirited because they cannot be good enough in their own mind.

So, if they can’t do good enough, then that is their thought for everyone else.  Religious deception causes intolerance towards everyone and everything that isn’t lining up with their view.

God expects us to reach out to people to let them know there’s a kingdom, but not of this world!

The religious forget there’s a world out there and create boxes to house their beliefs regardless of how erroneously they are.  These boxes become into entrenched into salt and too much salt in one place is too salty.

25 “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’
28 But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’
And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found,’”
Luke 15:25-32 KJV.

The burnt-out religious brother wasn’t happy that his brother was found, favored and forgiven after squandering all his inheritance.

The brother who was so religious and jealous, did not realize the most important piece of this event was that his brother was lost and now he is found!

It was a call to celebrate his return.  The father’s love watched from a long way off, hoping for the return of the wayward son!

The father was so happy about his son who came home, that he lavished him with hugs and kisses, giving him a robe to cover his condition, sandals on his feet giving him new shoes and steps ordered by his father and a ring on his finger, a sign of the fathers authority over all his house!

The jealous older brother was upset as to why the father was celebrating him, and yet he had never given him permission to have a party with his friends.

The father told the jealous brother that he could have had a party anytime with all the fixings and his friends.

The other brother was upset at his brother’s homecoming, thinking he didn’t deserve it.  The older brother did not understand that his place in his fathers house was certain and all that the father had, was his too.

Not understanding the father’s love, grace and mercy, kept him prideful in all his abilities and works, as he felt entitled to much more.

When we get so deep into religion, our pride causes us to forget our own relationship with God and each other.  We forget where we came from!

Sometimes an ordained retreat and down times in our lives are where God leads us and refreshes us in a different way; especially when we are tired and burnt out!

When we get this way, we will notice it seems like everything is making us irritable, drying up and that we are being pulled away from all normality.

There will be times when God is actually leading us to a place to rest, regroup, get reconnected, reestablished, and hear from God.

We are not to be feeding off each other, battling against each other in this condition.  It would be like piranhas going after flesh after flesh.

Religion is what makes complicated the love, understanding and the reality and purposes of God.  We must make room for the Holy Spirit to work on our hearts.

As we are transformed by the Holy Spirit, others will then take notice and want the God we represent.  Once we realize our condition, then we can no longer offer the cheap brand of mindless Merry-Go-Round religion-based performances, or some sideshow acts of pretenders majoring on clown-like behavior, captivating and mesmerizing, with donned mask and paint to alter their true selves.

We must make up our mind, decide, and demand to get off that Merry-Go-Round.

There will be many sized spiritual waves and crashes, and it will shift as a larger wave will descend, but what is left standing once the wave has crashed, was founded on a good foundation.

As the wave runs its course by going into every square inch, it claims everything that wasn’t connected deep on the foundation, and that is released, as it recedes out to sea.

We need to do our ministry.  It is fine to have meetings and enjoy The LORD and each other, but where are the soul winners and the maker of disciples?

The Church has been guilty, for not having any place for these.

So many Church goers are religious, putting in their one hour per week, before then promptly go back to the worldly mindsets.

There is no room for change, no tolerance, and what they fail to see is that all throughout history, when God brings change, some receive it and move with God.

However, there are those who refuse change and when the Spirit of God moves on, many of the people do not move with God.  Thus enters another denomination and they turn what was a place where God once moved, into a shrine of death.

Then in God’s mercy, He sends reformers and prophets, and these shrines begin to kick out the very ones who were needed to bring reformation.

Truly does the passage say, they become white washed walls full of dead men’s bones.

I am done chasing fleeting feelings and experiences.

My soul follows hard after God regardless of who stays or goes.  I belong to HIM and as He moves.  By HIS Grace I will follow.

I hope many of you who read this agree that it is time to stand against religious spirits.

I want to see God move in this end-time harvest, don’t you?

Have we forgotten where we came from?

Give God Room!

Our Number One Foundational belief in our salvation is understanding fully that it is impossible to keep in the flesh.

Our Number One Foundational belief in our salvation is understanding fully that it is impossible to keep in the flesh.

That is why Jesus came and took our place for our sin once and for all.  It was impossible to be saved, sealed, and delivered in our power, but the perfect precious Lamb of God took our place.  We cannot add anything to it or take anything away from it.

Jesus stands at the door of our heart and knocks, if any man hears that knock and opens the door He will come in.

Becoming right with God happens when we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Through Christ’s atoning work on that cross He, the perfect Lamb of God, paid the awful terrible price for the salvation of our eternal souls.

When we truly get the revelation of what he did in our place, we cannot help but be grateful, love and serve The LORD!

I am so grateful that he draws us closer.  For who can’t help but believe when they are confronted with God’s perfect love that cast out all fear!  Fear causes torment and our God does not torment.  It is His lovingkindness leads us to repentance.

Being a servant to the people of God for decades, I have seen much.  But this especially I have seen a lot.  I have never seen a person who was a pressured, pushed, fearful, or tormented individual make a true love commitment to Christ.

Fear and torment cannot keep you.  I have NEVER seen a person make a commitment who was fearful, tormented, pressured, and continue on with Christ.

Fear will not save you and fear will not keep you! God’s motive is always love, because when you come to know the lover of your souls you cannot help but repent and fall in love with Him!

When met with Perfect Love, you cannot help but repent and receive his love and His security deep within.  Christ is not religious and He goes wherever the people are.

Always remember to remind yourself and others that we love Him, because He first loved us.  And it is because His lovingkindness always leads us to repentance not fear and torment!

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me,”    Revelations 3:30 KJV.

“Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.  God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  We love him, because he first loved us,”    1 John 4:15-19 KJV.

As for me, I have learned through the years how blessed and relieved I was when I learned to remain childlike in innocence.

It wasn’t always that way though!  Those who know me well understand who I am but for the majority, remaining as a child has kept ignorant, innocence and close to Abba, and people have not seen what I pack inside.

It is better to remain incognito and quiet staying in the back until He calls you forward.  Then everyone will know!

This is the key beloved; Let God make room for your gifts!  You don’t need to say it, prove it or try to make it happen.

Let God open doors and let HIM say it!  He wants to take us onward and upward in the Spirit realm and Let God make room for you.

I try to do my best keeping it simple.  So, I fall on the grace and mercy of God.  I am simple, and childlike and that is my rank. I seek no titles. He is my total life. And I want to bring glory to His HOLY Name!

I pray in season He always reveals.

I seriously asked God to keep me innocent and childlike to take what the Holy Spirit shows me, to minister encouragement in all ways.

To move in love and do all things motivated by love for The LORD, to all of us who are in a major struggle.  It is my hope his word has moved you and given you confidence in Jesus name!

A Master Craftsman

We are His workmanship.  Learn to be silent and listen as you abide you will hear many things.

The LORD has been showing me various levels and reminds me that words are powerful and they can be creative like our great creator God!

But he had me go a bit further in my prayer time, telling me words are like “containers” and they can pour into, pour out of, dump, flood, pour negativity, release cursing with hatred and many numbers of scenarios.

We in God must learn to be angry, yet do not sin.  God isn’t denying that your situation is real and bad, but He wants us to learn to react His way according to His word with others, to create a positive path now and for our future.

God wants us to learn to speak and be victorious over the enemy’s language, so that we won’t react to his threats or react to respond to people negatively.

“We must learn to “study to be quiet” and work with our own hands.”  To Study to be quiet means it takes effort.

It takes developed discipline and we are supposed to be disciples of Christ. (One of the fruits of the Spirit is discipline/self-control (Corinthians 13).

I am not saying it is easy to become disciplined but for those of us who want to grow and produce the fruits of the Spirit in our lives, this is not a bargaining tool, it is a matter of necessity, fact, and foundation, not fiction.

We must learn “to be still” and know He is God.  He is a jealous God and desires our total being!

Is it easy?  No!  But once you get the edge of alignment with God, you will develop these fruits through abiding and learning to wait on God and it will get easier to obey and easier not to retaliate according to the flesh towards people.

When we face these tests, they prove our spiritual condition to ourselves.  God already knows our condition but he wants you to know your own condition!

I can say this, that when you learn to respond directed according to the Holy Spirit, you will learn to depend on the Holy Spirit in prayer and answers that you must pray before you ever say!

Our flesh bucks up because we think we are entitled to give those people a piece of our mind!  Especially if it is someone we are having issues with we want to respond and retaliate in the flesh!

The flesh always resists the Spirit and we must remember it will take effort to be quiet and pray and only say what the Holy Spirit leads us to do.

The enemy knows if we learn to become a master craftsman using our tongue with God’s Word, that he will lose ground in our lives.

“And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,”    1 Thessalonians 4:11 KJV.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth,”    2 Timothy 2:14 KJV.

Why do you think the enemy wants us to respond to situations with negative words?

He is opposite of God and will do all things possible to keep us trapped in our world using our own thoughts and words.

We have the power to cancel the enemy’s assignments!  When we realize the revelation of how powerful God’s word is through us, it is so powerful and awesome!

However, we must also be aware that we become a target of the enemy and we are a force to be reckoned with.  We need our sisters and brothers to pray for us.  There is no shame in getting help.

When we get serious about dedicating our lives to changing our words and reactions then we will be taken seriously by the enemy and man!

God wants to train and teach us how to control environments by walking out our lives in the spirit realm.  God’s word in us carries supernatural power to change lives and situations!

The enemy wants us to respond his way as he provokes us to wrath so that we react towards people by spewing out words of defeat that will curse and affect us and others.

It only takes just one person to break the cycle!  Everywhere your feet go has been giving for you to possess.

Take hold of every environment you find yourself in and take dominion and tell the devil to go!  Choose to be the peacemaker and be the mature one and stop the cycle of chaos and discord.

Instead of responding to the negative words and vibes, counter it with God’s word or use silence.  Pour out ice water over the enemies plans!

Our silence often speaks volumes!  Just realize how powerful it is that we carry within us the author of peace and assurance.

We counter the negative, chaos and discord with kind words and actions or we act like it has no affect and we pray for them and that drives the enemy away!

Once we know the truth it sets us free!  The enemy has no more foothold when we surrender and let God fights our battles.

Our battle is not with flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places.

Words create our path and circumstances why?

Because the world was created by HIS Word. Heaven and earth shall be passed away but HIS Word will never pass away.  We have been created in Christ for good works.

We are his workmanship.  Learn to be silent and listen as you abide you will hear many things.

Exercise:

This is a very serious teaching beloved.  If this has convicted you or stirred within you, get serious with God and doing some serious fasting and prayer to become sensitive and seek God to help you with these issues.

God is concerned with our words and learn to be aware of everything that will come out of our mouth.  For everything good is created by the father of lights!

Everything that is created is by HIS Word! We have many tests and trials in life to prepare us for God’s destiny and purpose.

God creates in us what we lack and as we are learning to love and obey him, and finally to KNOW HIM and HIS Voice, Nature, Character, experiencing his unconditional love, and learning to love him as a child yes, but also learning that he loves you as is.

Come as you are to Jesus, don’t wait!  Come as you are and the Holy Spirit will teach you all things.

Becoming refined truly takes time.  For many years even though trial day and night come, and there are so many times of drought and long wilderness experiences.  All those times were my greatest teachers!

These times of branding my behind that I am sealed and stamped and branded forever as His.  However, the elements convinced me and not hearing him while going through a valley and dry season is where our lessons truly began.

I write these decrees in the Name of Jesus Christ and in His authority and through His power.

The Angelic troops stand ready to dispatch these decrees to the heavenly realms to the rulers, and authorities, and to post in the King’s Palace  (Revelations 2-3, Ephesians 3:10, Esther 8:10,13).

The Gnawing Within

There are those who have felt and experienced what it means to be spiritually bankrupt and burned out.

There are those who have felt and experienced what it means to be spiritually bankrupt and burned out.

God takes us through many lessons in life.  His objective is always for our good to manifest His plan in our lives.  God is always looking towards His best for us.

We can never see what we are made of until we are tempted and tested.  Jesus himself was led into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Jesus was LED to BE TEMPTED!  There are seasons of change in our lives that leads us toward growth.

God uses life lessons to temper us and make us refined and defined in how we present him and live our lives in our world.

The LORD allows shakings, whirlwinds, storms of life and manifesting to get to our heart issues.  It is during these times of testing’s that we find out the hidden issues of the heart, and those of whom have gotten caught up in pride, ego, selfish ambitions and the entanglements of this life.  God even tests us and tempers us in His Spirit in silence.

TO BE STILL AND KNOW HE is GOD is a defining revelation.  Many are antsy because of silence and feel that somehow, they are out of the will of God.

There is a gnawing within that surfaces at times when God is defining us.  However, God refines us the most when we yield to the process and not fear the process.

Be still and know He is God!  We will learn to study to be quiet and work with our own hands.  So many truths are taught to us through silence.

Storms have a way of proving the reality of our belief of Christ in all parts of our lives.  Everything we built upward will be challenged by storms as whatever isn’t built correctly will be blown away thus revealing our foundation.

Becoming and being uncomfortable in our current situation is a true sign that God is in the midst to bring change with understanding to strengthen our faith, bringing more stability in our lives in the Spirit.

In my life personally, I have found a sure guarantee of tried, true, and proven lessons that only the Holy Spirit could have taught me.

How many of us would be transparent enough to admit what the most valuable lessons are?

I have found my growth experiences when I fall flat on my back only to look up to the Spirit of God that His grace teaches us.

How many of us get too big for our britches contending that we have it all together?

We have this pseudo mindset that we trusted having purity, good works, but when God begins to deal with us comparing ourselves to HIM we finally realize that in our hearts and minds who we really are in the flesh!

When we truly recognize our pride and the enormous high opinion of ourselves, finally it causes such a revulsion that I abhor myself as a fool.  And only moments prior to that, I thought I was something special, having a high-minded attitude that I think I am some sort of shining jewel representing God before men.

Then when the revelation of our revulsion pierces our soul and mind, we want to sit in dust and ashes as some sort of burned out worthless piece of junk!

True repentance and turning away from such mindsets are mandatory and we cannot avoid it.  However, Jubilee can bring a major change in our lives.  God wants to give us a Jubilee release from our Spiritual bankruptcy.

Read: Leviticus chapter 25

The year of Jubilee, or the year of release, deals with land, property and rights to those matters.  According to Leviticus, slaves and prisoners would be set free, all debts would be forgiven and the mercies of God would be particularly manifest,  (Leviticus 25:8-13 KJV)

In Jubilee everyone that had been indebted was then released from that debt!  They were free and able to start over again by having their land and possessions returned to them and to be free from slavery to begin again!

Wow, what that would mean to many of us today!

There are many changing, moving motives and are all being tested and revealed during this important window of time.

Many with unholy motives and desires seek to take advantage as they see how The LORD is moving by His Spirit.

When there are unholy motives within people, these get a whiff of the true word of The LORD, and they get jealous, envious and seek to gain benefits and ride on that particular anointing.

“But there was a certain man, called Simon, which before time in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: 10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. 11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries. 12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. 14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of The LORD Jesus.) 17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. 18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. 20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. 21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. 24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to The LORD for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me,”    Acts 8:9-24 KJV.

Simon the sorcerer realized the power, but his motive and coveted practices revealed being totally the wrong spirit.

We don’t play God but we must realize the labor involved and what it takes to get a pure word from God.  Those who are deceived and sit in favor of the enemy know whom the threats are.

It matters not that you feel you must know more but what really matters is whom you know and you are confident in HIS perfect design and destiny for your life.
