When we were children, we needed parental discipline to correct our course.
Spiritually beloved, we ALSO need God’s discipline and intervention when we get too big for our own britches!
God has to change our course and intervene changing our direction, minds, AND behinds if need be!
It proves HIS love for us!
I don’t have all the answers but I know who does!
The Lord shall provide us with stability and assurance that we belong to HIM!
“For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not.
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?” Hebrews 12:6-9.
